Well, I think this is it… My thoughts on Bandai & Tamashii Nations, they asked for it so I will write whatever I’ve experienced… 1st of all, recently I received my preorder of SHF Ridron but, it turned out to have factory defects, which the antennas appeared to be long/shorter than the other one like this:
Of course, I’m madly disappointed & angered with this because I’ve spent hundred bucks just to buy that miniature car, my intention to open it is to refresh myself by looking on my figure for a glimpse. Because I’m tired & stress from my job but, this is what happened… So, I complained to Bandai Japan &….:
I knew it… Contacting Bandai Japan would be useless, I used to contact them regarding my SHF Mercury but, they didn’t help at all. & so, I contacted Tamashii Nations South Asia:
As they said, I also contacted Indonesians official Bandai distributor Multi Toys via Facebook:
Multi’s conversations are in Indonesian & their response was asking my full contacts & I asked them how long will it take & they said 3-4 weeks exactly like Tamashii Nations South Asia said. Well, their words seems reliable so I put my trust on them &, I’m waiting according as they said. However, it’s been more than 5 weeks I didn’t get any news from them & I tried to contact them again:
What the hell have you been doing past 5 weeks ago, Tamashii Nations? After my last reply asking for another question, they only seen it & just walk away without replying… & then I keep contacting Multi Toys & they finally said a good news for me:
The response was they’re willing to replace my Ridron’s antennas with their Ridron’s display stock & giving me their complete address for me to visit the center store. Well, since they asked that, I better off visit them rather than waiting too much time. & up to shocked me, Multi said Bandai haven’t send the replacement to them.
In there, they finally replaced my Ridron’s antennas with their displayed Ridron inside the detolf &…:
Well, this… Really-really made my day!! I thought I was going to give up but, there’s always hopes if we showed good effort!! Although, Bandai or TN did not help at all but, Multi Toys really deserves a credit for solving my problem, with this I have nothing to worry again. My Ridron’s antennas is looking good so far, I can finally make my review of SHF Ridron!! Coming soon!!
My overall thoughts, about Bandai & Tamashii Nations customer service I really-really hate to say this but, their customer care is very-very BAD. Bandai Japan is too lazy to send replacement overseas because they only accept customer who lived in Japan, while Tamashii Nations did not keep their promise. I can’t believe it, when I was a kid I used to love your products but, now you disappoint me with your stupid policy of customer service. Oh, well… With this, I will quit collecting SHF figures for good & my last preorders of them are SHF Winspector Walter & the Option sets. I’m sorry Bandai & TN but, you asked for it… If you just kept your promise or not being strict enough on your policy to send overseas I would never want to spill this dirty words of mine.
